What NOT to put on your eHarmony profile if you want to win my heart.

So, I bit the bullet and signed up for an online dating site for 3 months (what can I say, I am a sucker for a sale). First, filling out the profile is quite daunting. It starts off fun and then it gets very personal. Do I put answers that I think people would want me to say or answer them revealing all my flaws? I know the right answer, but I fought it just the same. Once the 5 hour long ordeal of filling out the questionaire is over, then the fun really starts.
I know it's better for people to be honest in their profiles, but there are somethings you should probably avoid bringing up until at least the 3rd date. While I am sure these people have many redeeming qualities, including these things in your profile really make it hard for me to want to communicate with you:

1. Admit your affinity for dragons...I am sure there is some dragon loving girl out there for your, but I don't think it's me.


2. Thing you’re most passionate about: protecting your 2nd Amendment rights. Really? Iam not against guns, but if that is what you are most passionate about I would say our priorities are not aligned


3. Admit that you read and enjoyed The Notebook. I appreciate a person trying to show their sensitive side, but that’s just going too far.


4. Listing eHarmony as one of your passions. Seriously?

So, those are some of the highlights. A couple other things to avoid would be taking a picture of yourself in the mirror. I would say that 75% of all guys profile pictures are taken this way. Do you have any friends that could take your picture for you? And whatever you do, don't put a picture of you in a wife beater. I don't care how hot your arms are, put on a shirt!

Best eHarmony answer thus far:

"Optimus Prime was my hero as a kid and I cried when he was killed in the original "Transformers the Movie." . . . He and Hulk Hogan were my heroes . . . If there were an Optimus Hogan, that would be perfection."

So, I will let you know if anything else fun comes out of this, but this is all I have for now.
